Considerations before bringing it
Remove cases, screen covers, keyboards, or styluses you want to keep. Mention swollen batteries before bringing the device in.
Data and privacy prep
Back up data, sign out of Apple ID or Google accounts, turn off Find My or activation lock, and factory reset if you are comfortable doing so.
Best way to bring it to us
Remove activation locks if possible. Chargers can be recycled with the device.
What happens after drop-off
Tablets are sorted for reuse, parts, battery handling, secure data processing, and responsible recycling.
