Description
Laptops, notebooks, Chromebooks, and similar portable computers are accepted for recycling or reuse.
Considerations before bringing it
Keep your charger if you still need it. We will accept it for recycling.
Data and privacy prep
Back up files, sign out of accounts. We can sanitize or destroy storage media; request documentation during drop-off or before pickup if needed.
Best way to bring it to us
Chargers, docks, and accessories can come with it or be recycled separately.
What happens after drop-off
Working units may be refurbished; non-working units are dismantled for parts, batteries, drives, and recyclable materials.
What may happen after intake
These videos can show the different paths a computer may take after drop-off: refurbish, scrap, certificate of destruction, or tear down.
