Description
Smartphones, flip phones, and similar mobile devices are accepted with basic prep recommended.
Considerations before bringing it
Remove cases and accessories you want to keep. Keep or remove SIM cards and memory cards before drop-off. Back up your data including files and photos.
Data and privacy prep
Back up your data, sign out of Apple ID or Google accounts, remove activation lock when possible, and factory reset the phone. We still handle data-bearing devices securely after intake.
Best way to bring it to us
Remove activation lock if possible. Chargers can be recycled if no longer needed.
What happens after drop-off
Phones are evaluated for reuse or parts; data-bearing devices are sanitized, destroyed, or routed through secure recycling workflows.
